Longo’s joined the Empire family of brands last year. This partnership is about two Canadian family-founded businesses with shared values coming together to bring the Longo's experience to even more communities. Longo's will continue to operate independently from other Empire brands. Our Guests will continue to receive the same high-quality products and exceptional experiences they know and love.

Practically, this means the Longo family will remain in the business exactly as they are now. There will be no changes to any Team Members or positions. Longo’s will remain a family-operated business, operating independently from Empire.

The Longo’s family will retain 49% of the Longo’s business.

Anthony Longo will continue as the President and CEO and drive decisions in the best interests of our culture, Guests and Team Members.

Beginning in July, Grocery Gateway transitioned delivery services to Voilà one neighbourhood at a time. This change is part of our partnership with Empire, where we envisioned opportunities to work together to create a better Guest Experience. Over time, we learned from one another, exchanging ideas and assessing how best to combine the strengths of both organizations. The result of our collective efforts is a superior online grocery shopping experience that offers the utmost in freshness, quality and expertise from Grocery Gateway, paired with the leading-edge technology of Voilà to ensure accurate and timely delivery. We’re excited to bring this elevated experience to you and your family. We encourage you to give Voilà a try and experience the many benefits they have to offer. 

Yes. You still need your longos.com account to manage your Thank You Rewards points and card, view the weekly flyer, and get access to the latest recipes, inspiration, tips and trends from our experts. Even though grocery delivery has shifted to Voilà, we continue to offer Loft Cooking Classes and preordering for in-store pickup of our most popular specialty products, like Festive Meal Kits, Lobsterfest, floral, catering and more through our website.

We’re sorry we removed features you’ve grown accustomed to using on longos.com. With the shift of grocery delivery to Voilà, you can now access these features at voila.ca. If you consented to transfer your account information to Voilà, you’ll be pleased to know that your longos.com frequently purchased products and shopping lists are pre-populated and ready for you at voila.ca. All you need to do is create an account using the same email address associated with your longos.com account.

To ensure your transition to grocery delivery by Voilà is as smooth as possible, we’ve transferred your Longo’s shopping lists to Voilà. If you consented to transfer your account information to Voilà, your longos.com shopping lists are pre-populated and ready for you on voila.ca. If you haven’t done so already, all you need to do is create a voila.ca account using the same email address associated with your longos.com account. Then sign in to voila.ca and navigate to “Lists”. Look for the lists marked “Longo’s List”, and you’ll be able to continue your shopping journey with the same ease and convenience that you have come to expect from Longo’s.

If you consented to transfer your account information to Voilà, your longos.com Frequently Purchased products list is pre-populated and ready for you on voila.ca. If you haven’t done so already, all you need to do is create a voila.ca account using the same email address associated with your longos.com account. Then sign in to voila.ca and navigate to “Favourites” to view your frequently purchased products. 

Previous Longo's delivered by Grocery Gateway Guests are welcomed on Voilà with a free delivery offer. If you missed the opportunity to sign up for Voilà on your transition date and did not receive a free delivery offer you can contact Voilà's Customer Care team at 1-877-864-5222 and they, like us, would be happy to make it right. 

If you're a Thank You Rewards Member, there is no need to worry about not using your online credits by July 1st, 2023. Any online credits have already been applied to your Thank You Rewards card and can be used in-store anytime.

If you're not a Thank You Rewards Member, you can sign up at https://www.longos.com/thank-you-rewards, and any credits on your account will be automatically applied to your card for use in-store. If you don’t have a physical Thank You Rewards card because you signed up online, add your digital card to your Apple or Google Wallet or scan your digital card from the Longo’s App at checkout to apply your credits to an in-store purchase.

No, Longo’s Thank You Rewards points are exclusive to Longo’s and can only be redeemed for free food online and in-store at Longo’s.

No, Scene+ points are not available to be earned or redeemed online or in-store at Longo’s.
